Dr. George Anthon, Jr. is a doctor of Chiropractic practicing in Hammond for 22 years. He is the owner of Anthon Chiropractic Care, past president of Hammond Jaycees, Hammond Kiwanis, and past president of the Tangi Chapter of Coastal Conservation Association.
He has been selected as Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the State of Louisiana and Small Business Person of the Year by SLU’s College of Business.
He currently serves on the boards of Chiropractic Association of Louisiana, Hammond Housing Authority, and of First Christian Church where he is also an Elder.
Dr. Anthon has coached in the Hammond soccer, baseball, and softball leagues for several years, most recently as the head coach for Hammond Hurricanes, 10-12 year old girls All-Star Softball team, as well as the head coach for Holy Ghost Girls Softball Team.
He enjoys hunting, fishing, reading, racquetball, and watching sci-fi. He is married to Gina Lottinger Anthon, a music teacher at SLU and Holy Ghost Catholic School. They have four children, Stephen (14), Laura (11), David & Jacob (10).
Dr. Catalanatto began his college education at Southeastern Louisiana University. He then transferred to Parker University in Dallas, TX to begin the Doctor of Chiropractic program.
While completing the chiropractic program, he also earned a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy as well as a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness. He graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in April 2013.
Dr. Catalanatto is certified in Active Release Technique and Graston Technique both help detect and treat any muscle, tendon, ligament, fascia and nerve symptoms. He is also certified in Functional Movement System which helps identify any asymmetries and limitations, allowing him to make accurate diagnosis and precise treatment plan.
He has a vast knowledge in treating extremities and utilizing kinesio taping in order to help improve mobilization, stabilization and alleviate pain. Dr. Catalanatto’s education and certifications has allowed him to treat patients ranging from; infants, children, elderly and athletes ranging from weekend warrior to Olympic.
Dr. Melissa Hoffmann is a native of Southeast Louisiana and a Doctor of Chiropractic practicing for 7 years. She had the opportunity to travel while in undergraduate school and attended University New Orleans, Pima Community College, University of Arizona, and Parker University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. She completed her studies at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Being a chiropractor and a mother of four children has given Dr. Hoffmann a passion for working with the children in her community. She studied with the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association where she learned holistic chiropractic care for children and expectant women. She has training with the Webster adjusting procedure, a specific technique for expectant mothers.
Dr. Hoffmann has a vast of experience in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients who were injured in automobile collisions, slip and fall incidents, and work-related matters. She also has a comprehensive understanding of spinal corrective care for her wellness patients.
When she is not in the office treating patients, Dr. Hoffmann spends time with her family and sharing her passion for chiropractic and wellness with the community. Her constant drive and ambition for helping others achieve health makes Dr. Hoffmann the chiropractor to help you achieve optimal health.
Dr. Fontenot grew up in southeast Louisiana in a town called Mandeville. He worked on his undergraduate at Louisiana State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Fitness Studies. Dr. Fontenot then continued his academic progression over to Parker University in Dallas, Texas where he worked for and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He now practices full time in Hammond, Louisiana where he works to improve the lives of the many in need of chiropractic care to improve the functional integrity of the spine and central nervous system. Dr. Fontenot also continues to satisfy his scholarly yearning by studying Applied Kinesiology as well as Applied Clinical Nutrition and Functional Medicine.
